Welcome to "Personal Assistants at Home," a dedicated initiative aimed at empowering independent Personal Assistants (PAs) who provide essential domestic support and non-regulated care, enabling individuals to live independently. Our program promotes local employment by offering extensive training and support for aspiring PAs, helping them develop and deliver personalized services to clients. For established PAs, we provide unmatched support and resources. One of the key benefits of joining our network is the requirement for an enhanced DBS check, along with thorough verification of references and insurance. This ensures that Action for People can offer prospective clients independent assurance of a PA's credibility and reliability.

Inclusive Support for All PAs We support all PAs—whether self-employed, employed, or operating their own micro-company. Our scheme offers new entrants the support and training needed to establish their own employment, whether as self-employed individuals or through their own micro-companies. We also welcome PAs working in other care settings to join our Network, providing them with portable accredited background checks and access to an award-winning learning hub.
